We've had Starlink for 6 months, and I've noticed the speeds getting slower and slower using the Gen 3 Roam Unlimited plan, which can be prioritized during peak time. The more populated an area, the slower the service.

Yep, at times, the same Starlink dish I use at home is just about useless here in Silver Springs. I see speeds over 150 mb early in the morning, but 1-3 mb during Yellowstone. It's so bad that I'm actually considering canceling the service and just using the park Wi-Fi, which also rates high on the suck meter, but it's only $50 a month vs. $165.

Yep...Starlink buffered a few times during Yellowstone.

Have you compared other services? I think it's the net in general. This site is extremely bad speed wize, in comparison to others I frequent at some times of the day.

I think the net is breaking!!!

Hughes Net would not be an option plus it needs to be "professionally" set up. Dish or Direct is semi-usable until the first thunderstorm rolls in. That leaves cell service which isn't available in some of the places we travel. Next?

I've never noticed slow speeds on this site.

Many times when service slows I just reboot the system. This helps sometimes.

Demand has out paced supply. SpaceX recently reported subscriber saturation in some regions of the country and closed new account registrations in those areas until more birds get launched; bandwidth will eventually improve.

Is it demand? Or is it about money and ROAM being deprioritized unless you pay up for priority data? If you can find a good cellular plan I suggest going that route. That's my primary, Starlink is my backup only.
