When looking at a friends 2022 DS4369 on a Spartan Chassis, I noticed that they have a box of parts in the basement that includes a serpentine belt, filters, etc.. is this something standard when you guy a Spartan chassis rig and not a part of a Freightliner purchase??

Was not something that came with my on my 2018 Spartan or my 2023 Freightliner
Maybe something new, interesting question

Those Spartan parts kits can be purchased at Newmar. Probably elsewhere as well. I don’t think Freightliner has a similar kit.

I have been at RV shows where Spartan has the chassis display and they are selling those kits.

Bought mine direct from Spartan

Just an FYI. This is not specific to the Spartan kit, just generally speaking. Price out each part included in any "maintenance kit" and compare the total to the kit price. You might save some money buying individually.

FL Gaffney has a bag you can buy, I learned of it this past visit. Then on your next visit you give them the bag, they use those items and replace with new for your spares. I built my own spares kit and bought with the FCCC discount and/or Cummins discount (don't think that club is available any longer). Vacuum sealed the goods and hope to never have to use them.

thats good to know!! we are going to Gaffney in December for our first annual service.. I will get that while we there!!!
