Looks like Starlink may be getting more affordable vs having to pay $150/mo for standard roam service. Got this email:

Try the new Roam 10GB plan for $10/mo and use Starlink for backup connectivity or weekend travel. 10GB of Roam data is included (approximately one day of typical use) and if needed, you can buy additional data by the GB in your account.

Get online with no downtime in case of emergencies. You can use Roam on the go, with countrywide coverage, in-motion use, international travel, and coastal coverage.

Reactivate service on the Roam 10GB plan by following the steps below:

1. Log in to your account at starlink.com
2. Go to "Subscriptions" and select your service line
3. Select "Activate Service" and choose the service plan

I think the going rate is now $165/month!

We’ve been using T-Mobile Home Internet for the past year. This past summer I only activated for Starlink for a few partial months when we had no cell service and I really wanted to get online. I’m thinking this new plan may work better for us when we’re traveling and hit those dead zones.

We are doing the same as above…TMobile home normally and Starlink roam as a backup when needed.

TMobile home even works while driving as we leave it plugged in and have internet while going down the road.
