Retrieved coach from storage this morning and unfortunately , when concierge was pulling it out a baggage door opened somehow!

Call Newmar for an appointment to repair/ replace door😪

Door bent back damaged the skin badly.

Bummer @Joe Hogan. Sorry to see this but it will get fixed up.

Can’t wait for the new storage unit to be finished

Newmar was quick to get me an estimate. In my opinion the estimate is fair.
Added the work to our Oct Service appointment. In that way we do not incur extra travel expenses.
Down side is we will have to explain the damage at every campsite this summer🧐

Sorry your going through this, much better then damage to front or rear cap and sidewall. It will look like new.

Coulda been worse... Side swiped by a work truck coming on the interstate from a cloverleaf on the way to the Tampa show back in 2018. North Trail bought the tool to make new doors as they had long lead times ordering them from Newmar. Don't know how many times I had to explain this at the show.

I have been telling people that if they can afford to buy one of these units or industrial condos. Since I am moving into a house with an rv garage, I am going to rent my unit out. That will offset my living costs.
I have always made money buying these units. Even though there are fees involved, I have found that counting all costs and carrying (hoa) fees, I have always turned a really good return on investment when I sold

OMG @Joe Hogan, I'd be sick. But it can be fixed. Just sucks that it happened to your brand new rig. :(
