For Christmas I received a suction cup flag holder. It is labeled for RV use but is this safe for the side of a 5th wheel? Anyone here used this item? Any experiences at all?

I ordered one the day before yesterday.

Amazon.com

I'm looking forward to your responses.

Btw. I only intend to use when in a Park. Removed on travel days.

I thought that was understood but based on a reply on another forum I thought I’d clarify.

A thread like that would go on for days on a 'different' forum LOL

That is why I went with the suction cup route. Easy on, easy off. I guess I should not be surprised that there would be some that wanted to use it a a permanent mount. Shaking my head.

Mine arrived. So far, I am pleased. The one I have must be mounted on a flat plain. I tried to affix it to the hood of my coach but it is slightly rounded thus I could not get both suction cups to work. The suction cups are very robust but I'm sure "they are not forever"! I expect to have to check them weekly to make sure they stay secure. Just an FYI, Where it is mounted in the photos is just for test purpose only. I will find a more appropriate place later. :)

I will update down the road once they have been used for a while.

Thanks for the input. Two different forums and I haven’t heard any complaints.

Appreciate the discussion on these.

Ordered 2 of them today so I can mount an American and Navy flag on our Superstar.

Been looking for something since we traded the old class c with a ladder flag mount.

As with anything pressing against a painted surface, scratching can take place. Clean surfaces very well before mounting, or better yet mount to your windows!
