Looking to visit the fair state of Tennessee for our first time. We are looking for some scenic routes to take for RV (trailer 27' Lance 4 season) and must-see sites if anyone knows of any. We are leaving from Nebraska, so we will have a few states to pass through if any other must-see sites come up. And must-see camp grounds. Some are beautiful!! We have been west of NE but not too much east. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks so much.

It’s called the Blue Ridge Parkway

Home - Elm Hill RV Resort It is on Percy Priest Reservoir. The actual dam is really cool spot and there is a very long paved bike trail. It is a bit pricey but the facilities are great.
Enjoy.

We are also in the process of planning a trip to Tennessee, NC, SC and Virginia. Tennessee will have us at the Smoky Mountains, Nashville and the southernmost part of the BRP. I prefer state campgrounds over private. Check out Tennessee State Parks and you will find them to be very reasonable. Recreation.gov is also great. We are stating outside of Nashville at 7 points camp ground. We have the lifetime senior pass and I think our spot there is $18.00/night.
Best of luck with your planning
We are super excited about our upcoming trip and leaving in about 5 weeks.

Well, we live in Tn. If you’re coming from the west, go to Memphis “Beal Street” all kinds of BBQ restaurants, music, etc. also Bass Pro Shop which is the Piramid building. They have a hotel, restaurants, and other things besides the store, The Elvis Presley mansion and across the street is the Graceland RV park.
2 hrs east of Memphis is the Battle of Shiloh “civil war battle”, and a little bit farther east is Adairsville home of “Buford T Pusser” sheriff and the inspiration true life movie of Walking Tall.

A little bit farther east is my house. lol

If you’re coming in from the north it’s Nashville. Grand Old Opy, Music Hall of Fame, Music Row where all the honky tonks. There is a nice Nashville Zoo.

Lynchburg, you can tour Jack Danial’s and shop all the neat places around the old square.

Chattanooga area; Lookout Mtn, Rock City, Ruby Falls, the aquarium
South Pittsburgh Tn; This is the only place in US that make Cast Iron pots & pans. Lodge factory & outlet.

Of course Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge are all great. Blue ridge Pky as well.
