LT tires don't hold up on tandem axle trailers.
There is a popular YouTube channel "Keep Your Daydreams" or, KYD, with over 500k subscribers who tow their 30 ft Airstream 25k miles a year using 16" Michelin LT tires on their rig. I've never used them, but they are a pretty popular option for many RV'ers

Good for them. The side walls are made slightly different.

Yes they are Kevin, but you can buy new models that come with LT tires on them so........

Well, I have had great luck with China bombs over thousands of miles. And don't you know the people that make these things know more then we do? Or so I have been told by multiple people on the internet.

Me too! On both accounts.
I have used LT s on single axle, and I have had LT s have the tread separate on tandem trailers in a tight turn. I built My opinion on that and research. I have visually seen rims bend while backing into a tight spot (not permanent) so maybe some people go places like I do. My guess is that most people with high end trailers don't.

I don't know, see my post in the Lightship thread about money and brains.....I saw some pretty nice rigs in the desert this winter.
