Actually, that would be an improvement over the wave. From time to time, I do make some accidental sounds while doing my business but clapping would be a new one…unless I were particularly proud of a visit I suppose

Oh--I forgot another annoyance with the wave, and @ARD this would affect you.

My dog learned how to flush the toilet. The wave is a capacitive touch, so he can still flush it, but now only does so if we have overslept. Prior to reprogramming, he would just walk by it and flush it. He had a lot of fun with that...and annoyed me greatly.
