Hi, I have two questions, we have a 2026 Holiday Rambler Admiral on the Ford F-53 Chasis with the 7.3L V8 engine.

1. We seem to be having trouble with the torque even when going up a slight incline, we arr not towing anything and we only have two people and minimum supplies. Did I mention we have less that 1,000 miles

2. can anyone help me find a reasonable priced grill bra for the coach I dont want to pay 900+ to cover an 18inch opening just to keep the bugs out of my engine compartment?

Thanks
Leemd

What kind of trouble, are you climbing in cruise?

Waht model, size is your coach? At what altitudes are you driving at? What are you using for fuel?
The engine is till breaking in so you want to avoid full throttle low RPM operation a bit. At altitude you loose 3%HP for every 1,000 feet.

Trans should downshift to compensate..is it not dropping a gear or 2?

Hey thanks for the reply and the infor, it is a 2026 Holiday Rambler Admiral, 31 footer. Not driving at high altitudes. I will give it more time as we drive and hopes it does better. But I will keep in mind about the altitude. Thanks again

That's whatbI thought and it did not feel like the trans was downshifting so that is what had me concerned.
You should feel it downshift. Look at your tach..rpm should jump up especially if it drops 2 gears.. mine cruises around 2300 rpm but jumps to 3000 rpm if it goes from 6th to 4th on a steep incline
