Total Eclipse across Texas - April 8, 2024

We had one here a few years ago. 2017. Looked at it with a filter, took some pics. Didn't think it was any big deal. 2.5 minutes.
Ozzy Osbourne sang Howl At The Moon when the eclipse started at a place about 18 miles away, I heard he really sucked.

I suppose t's not for everyone ...for us, it was a spiritual experience...a reminder who we are and where we are.

Agree...goes something like this I think..."...The Heavens proclaim the Glory of GOD, the skies declare the work of His hands..." Kinda why I'm hoping to make an RV trip out of this event in 2024. We live in CA so we most likely know someone recently relocated to TEXAS We'll have to figure out who that may be...
