x2 always turn off to plug/unplugSign be damned, I'm turning the breaker off every time I plug in or unplug. I often see labels stating the opposite: Turn the breakers off when plugging in or unplugging.
Yep, cheap. Last ones I bought, if my memory serves me correctly, were about $16.00 at Loews. That may not be exactly right, but under $20 for sure.Sorry, breakers are cheap. Electronics in motorhomes are not nor is the threat of getting shocked desired.
I’ve seen a similar sign at a couple campground, if I recall when it’s been cold out. Needless to say, still follow what I’ve heard over the years and off when plugging / unplugging. Then I turn back on just in case there is some other load that I am unaware of. Leave it as I found it.For my safety and health of my coach I would turn off the breaker. Sorry, breakers are cheap. Electronics in motorhomes are not nor is the threat of getting shocked desired.
But I'm open to opinions/feedback, is turning off the breaker unnecessary?
You ask this question, already knowing the answer . . .I hope that doesn't mean they are plugging and unplugging storage customer rigs on live circuits.
