I know the post office will send an image of the envelope, etc, but I didn't know they would open it, scan the contents, and post them in PDF? Apparently this company will even deposit checks into your account if you want them to.
Hmmmm. I'm not sure my faith in humanity extends far enough to let someone open all my mail and scan it. Way too much exposure to identity theft for me.
I have my routine bills sent as PDFs directly to me and then pay them directly through my bank's "bill pay" function. Yes, there is still the potential for some identity theft, but banks are in the forefront of identity protection and my e-mail comes through a pretty secure portal.
