@Richpatty - I think they get it. They bought the toad too but that’s another chapter.
@sheridany - I kinda did this on the sly
@Neal - I’ll see ya there
@J&JD - I ain’t goin no where soon
@Neal - Haven't decided yet - gonna cool my heels for a while
@Texas Clodhopper - The money is in the bank - done deal
@J&JD - you might just see me running around in a truck camper. More likely a 25’ TT…
@Texas Traveler - yes, allegedly
@Rollin Ollen - yes well I really love this coach and want to make sure it works well for the new owners. No TV other than Starlink and Roku or whatever - I took off the Winegard dish and OTA antenna to make more room for solar so on AV stuff, other than playing DVDs, he’s pretty much on his own. Jacks and leveling are covered under Active Air.
@sheridany - My wife (The Admiral) went vegan and I’m the cook - a challenge to be sure - especially when I can get prime NYs (under the counter) from Harris!

You guys are the greatest!

…and because I’ve seen countless posts from new owners of used RVs (mainly on Facebook) with seemingly stupid questions (sometimes making me wonder if it’s a joke) but actually good questions stemming from being thrown the keys with little or no info provided, I’ve compiled a list of stuff I think the new owner needs to know to maximize enjoyment and minimize issues. Below is my list, and your input on anything I’m missing would be nice.

I’m delivering the coach and spending two days with the new owner in a week or so to go over everything and do some open road and closed course driver training. I don’t know how much chassis maintenance he’ll do himself so I’m leaving that for now. I’m trying to be prepared and organized so I can get it all done in two days.

So what will be the next coach?

So what will be the next coach?
I don’t know. I’m renting a class C next weekend for a scheduled trip (an outdoor wedding in the mountains south of Tahoe) but I’ve been thinking about an upper end 25’ TT if such a thing exists. I want to down size and I know I’ll have to downgrade but I want to limit that part as much as possible and I don’t want a 5th wheel. So far Outdoors RV in Central Oregon is leading the pack but there are a couple others, such as Lance and Northwood (Nash). Whatever I decide it will be an adjustment.

You might want to take a look at the new Brinkley TTs. Our daughter and hubby purchased a fifth wheel from them earlier in the year, and it has had very few problems. Their trailers are 28’ however. We met a few owners of them on our trip east this year, and they were happy owners. They have a very clean, upscale look. Judy D

It’s a great time to be a buyer of a rv given the current state of the industry. You should be able to find what you are looking for at a very attractive price. We look forward to seeing what you decide on.

Rich, I suggest you recommend that your buyers video your walk-through, especially if they are new to rving. You are giving them a ton of information that will be invaluable to them later down the road. I applaud you for taking the time to educate the new owners.
