😉 ah! That's what you are supposed to think. You have seen My rig. It's not the standard RV right?

I realize most don't want to live in what I do. But My philosophy is My build methodology.

I have been known to tell prospective solar adopters the easiest way to not go broke investing in solar, is to determine how to reduce your power usage. So this is how my 16ft x 7ft box can,and is cooled by 8000btu A/C.

No windows
Walls with 2 types of insulation.
Reduced living space (7x10) during heat of day.
Inverter A/C unit.
Protect sun facing surfaces with shade.

What was his name, rolling man cave? He just signed back I with a different name. Anyhow he can be credited with some of what I've done. My experiment was based on his reports here. First on that harbor freight trailer I recently sold, easily cooled with 5000btu.

I realize without context, calculation is futile. No one will stay in a blacked out room all day. I won't either. But I will set up a space to be comfortable in temporarily for the heat of the day. The rest of the time I have no desire to be indoors no matter the size of the room.

Hmmmm, I don't see that you succeeded at all. A 9000 btu AC unit will cool a medium size Yeti, but not a camper. Btu's convert directly to energy. Running an AC of sufficient size requires more more more. More battery, more solar panels, and more fuses, switches, and larger wire. The decision to forgo Lithium leaves most of your AH on the table unused. Meaning even more batteries and more wire.
Yeti?!? Catch up oyster is the new must have cooler.
