Why do your replies always leave me not wanting to participate.

People make mistakes unlike you.
I'm sorry. I personally had to reread the post to get what was being stated.

I then reread the post because I wasn't sure I got the post right after your comment.

Stating a fact via suggestion was all I did. I was not trying to ruffle any feathers.

Full time. Move Park to Park each 2 - 3 weeks. Don’t like packing 5th wheel and traveling to next Park. Thinking ahead to finding permanent Park. Probably next spring.

Ps. I do love getting to a next Park. Love the exploring new neighborhoods.

How long have you been at it?
We just met a lovely couple at Sea Perch RV resort in Oregon who sold their home and now live in their 5th wheel as they travel.
They do the hosting where they get free stay with days on and off, etc.

My wife has always wondered about doing such, me heck no, I just don't think I could live comfortably without a root somewhere sticking me to the fact that Dorothy forgot and needed to killed a few people in the process of remembering........

Full time 4 + years. I’m 77 wife is 67.

December 2021 we told the kids they had 2 weeks to get whatever they wanted out of the house. Hired an Estate auction that emptied the house. Sold the house and never regretted it. It’s just stuff.

Tell your wife to look into Workampers. I’m not recommending joining just research. Personally, I am not planning on ever working someone else’s schedule again. I did a lot of travel with work. Never again. But, it did teach me that I want my bed nightly and my bathroom.

WOW..... you ain't the hasty type, I can tell :)

You must have lots of stories to tell, maybe someday we'll share the same campfire and you can treat me to some on them, sounds amazing, but also daunting......

What don't I like ? PEOPLE! Or too many of them in one spot.
It’s called Demophobia. One of the main reasons I enjoy camping so much.

Ever notice the bigger the crowd the more people that show up?

Well...... is my cup (campground) half empty or half full?

The thing about keeping only my company, is that I already know all my stories and adventures, my likes and dislikes, etc.

However if a stranger sits with me by my campfire, I have a new dupe who doesn't know me from Jack Shi-t.....

So I can lie like a politician, even claiming my RV is 10 foot longer than it really is, I traveled with it to the top of Mount Everest, and thus feel superior to anyone who would risk setting by the fire with a loser......

So...... you wanna light my fire Bum?

We have a few, but folks who hog the gas pumps are right up there. After their tank is full, they wander into the store or as someone else mentioned, take the dog for a squirt.
We pulled into the only gas station within a hundred miles or so, in Dease Lake on the Stuart /Cassiar highway up the inside north coast of BC. We were second in line back from the pumps (a single island, so two pumps only...), and the line wasn't moving. Got out and walked to the front to see what was going on.
A woman was washing the cab of her Class C with the station's window-washing tool. She was about half finished when I got there. Someone was trying to explain to her, the error of her ways, but she was ignoring them. She was almost 10 more minutes before she was finally done. The line-up of rigs on both sides was long, so we had to stay in place and await our turn. Brutal...
