What do you dislike most about RV--ing?

Gas pump campers get me as well. It happens a lot.

We have a few, but folks who hog the gas pumps are right up there. After their tank is full, they wander into the store or as someone else mentioned, take the dog for a squirt.
We pulled into the only gas station within a hundred miles or so, in Dease Lake on the Stuart /Cassiar highway up the inside north coast of BC. We were second in line back from the pumps (a single island, so two pumps only...), and the line wasn't moving. Got out and walked to the front to see what was going on.
A woman was washing the cab of her Class C with the station's window-washing tool. She was about half finished when I got there. Someone was trying to explain to her, the error of her ways, but she was ignoring them. She was almost 10 more minutes before she was finally done. The line-up of rigs on both sides was long, so we had to stay in place and await our turn. Brutal...

There have been numerous times I have confronted those who block the pumps. Like you said they will block the pumps, get their gas and walk away. No thought for anyone else. The last one was 2 weeks ago somewhere in BC. Only one pump and a camper van was just sitting there. I went in the store and found him and I told him he needed to move. I said I'm 57 feet long and I always pull away after filling to allow others to get in. I got PO'd so I explained I'm too old to fight, too slow to run but I could still defend myself.

Had the same thing happen 4 times just on the trip back from AZ in Feb. Very common it seems. One guy sat next to me after I had to go turn around to get at the opposite pump, and ate his lunch after his wife sauntered out from the station. A large Class A came in and had to turn and back in beside him.....He nor she even blinked.

The exact reason I do not go to Buccees with my car. Its not a gas station, its a park and shop. Truck stops only for the rv and I have come across a driver who pulled forward and disappeared for 45 minutes

The problem is with the proprietor and always will be. All they need to do is put up a no loitering sign and enforce it.

Buccees encourages this behavior or they would have more parking spots up front or other entrances closer to the parking areas

Well yes they do not like blatant racism here, just the stuff you post. I would imagine it being tough to go through life hating people because of their skin color

But I don't you see, I worked and played with people of all colors and from all over the world. You doth protest to much methinks. I object to the ILLEGALS that don't share out values. And the idiots that parked and ate lunch were white....so what? But the other 3 were not and not speaking English either.

There is no question that this topic is a disliked action, and effects RVers. But to consider these people as campers is totally wrong! They are not campers in any sense of the word.

They are beggers! They beg to be seen. They know what they are doing, they always have. A group of them laughed at me when they came out of the Loves store when I was traveling through lordsburg NM one day. The leader gave me the look, you know the one! " Cross me" yup that one!

They are not inconsiderate, they are protesters plain and simple.
