Thanks I don't have one, do I need the adjustable one?
Yes. You'll need to compensate for different water pressures at different campgrounds. One might have a decent 45-50 psi, and the next might be pushing 70psi. Adjustability will give you that extra safety margin, as long as you do your part.

think it's a diverter valve?
I "think" is is a diverter valve. Have you removed the valve to check to see what the handle actually does to the water flow inside?


do I need the adjustable one?
Yes I would get the adjustable pressure regulator. I had the regulator with the gauge and left the regulator at a campground.
