Yes, indeed, it would be great to have you come by. If you can make it the first week of July, both Allan Bishop and John Reynolds (from this forum) will be here too! (That's more of a warning than anything else . . . :) )
Ok sounds good I will shoot for that week and see what happens. I have a few Gun Shows to try and take care of first and get coverage for the shop.

Fun evening up at The Wilderness Loop as we gathered to say goodbye to John & Kathleen and Melton & Tanya. It was a fun week, even with the rain. We got sprinkles last night too, but we all gathered up under the awning until it passed, and then back to the fire for more stories and cold drinks!

Hey, I like your business model.

A couple of years ago, I met a fellow who was designing maps especially geared for the motorcycle enthusiast, detailing all the cool rides/roads. At the time, his maps covered a couple of the surrounding states but recently he has added quite a bit of new content including an app that can replace the need for the map.

If you visit Deer Springs RV Park, and you need info on where to ride, just ask us as we have a pretty good supply of these maps.

Starting around the beginning of September, we will have a boondocking site open for those visitors who don’t need/want full hookups. This is a large, pull through site, and will rent for $30 a night. Good Southern exposure for solar panels and there are beautiful short/long range views.

We also have a smaller pull through site strictly for the use of our Alumni visitors who need a place to park overnight. This is not a large site, but there is ample room to open your slides and most rigs will not need to disconnect their toad. This site/service is exclusively for our Alumni visitors and currently there is no power or sewer hookup. This is a free site and is only available to our Alumni Visitors.

Free Internet is provided at both sites, but if you wish to stream movies you will need to upgrade to the premium service. Our free service will allow you to make Wi-Fi calls, access your emails, and browse Facebook, Pinterest, and all your other favorite social media sites

Currently, neither of these sites are available online, and to reserve them can only be done via a phone call or txt message.

The original site was started a couple of years ago, but there was no easy way to get in and out of it. So over the last few days, I spent some time with the chainsaw, trackhoe and front loader, and built a new road that makes this a very nice pull through site.

Still a ways go go on the road, but I'm very close to getting rock on it and making it usable. Then a little landscaping and we're ready to take our first boondocking guest!

Those are awesome additions, Jim! That smaller boondocking site might make a pretty good Harvest Host site. Free site (when available), one night only, and free advertising to highly-qualified RVers, who will certainly return for a paid site once they see the place. ;)

This guy was visiting the park a few days ago. Photo snapped by Doug in Site #8, from inside his Allegro Bus. ;)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick recap of a great weekend we had here at the park! Fellow forum member, Ed, who most of you know as @Neemer, came by in his beautiful Dutch Star. Picture below, but let me just say, this rig is absolutely stunning in person!

Unfortunately, it rained for two of the three days that Ed was here, so we didn’t get as much time to hang out as we would’ve liked. However, today, the weather cleared a bit, and we finally got a chance to spend some quality time together. Trish, myself, Jim and Bonnie,(@lostinfla) and their dog Irma, all joined us in the pavilion. We had a great chat, swapping stories and tips about RVing. It was one of those moments that reminds you why you love this lifestyle, good company and laughs.

Ed, it was a pleasure having you here, and we hope to cross paths again soon, hopefully with a bit more sunshine next time!

Safe travels, and we're all looking forward to seeing you again sometime!

"Hi Mom & Dad, I'm being a good doggie!"

@Jim , I had a great experience here in spite of the weather. Your CG is as quaint and awesome as I knew it would be, and your and Trish’s touches are evident throughout. You have a heckuva good thing going here. I greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of our gathering in the pavilion with y’all and @lostinfla. I’m proud and privileged to refer to each of you as friends.

I’ll have to get back here next season with my smarter, beautiful half for a longer stay. She’ll love it here too.

Be well.
