And finally, the finished product!

The crew worked well into the night and finished under the glow of a whole lot of headlights! I was a bit skeptical as to what the finish was going to look like, but it turned out just great.

Not their first rodeo I guess.

Looks like the road coarse at Charlotte Motor Speedway. That's going to be a fun run some day

Man Jim, that looks absolutely fantastic….and seriously expensive.

It was either the new road or a trip to Hawaii… I figured the road would last longer. :)

But yeah, I really like how it came out. Our little park is really starting to take shape.

Hawaii would have been cheaper. 😈

Well, this looks interesting! ;) New concrete patios for the sites up on The Wilderness Loop! Crew will be here at 5:30AM on Wednesday to pour! This should be a very nice improvement.

Quick!! Make some leaf impressions around the edge or two...

For the last 3-years, I tell myself I'm going to make an early exodus south, and every year something comes up to delay my exit. And of course, this year was no exception. Business got in the way, park renovations jumped in to do their part, and then all of what they call "life" piled on just for the fun of it.

But I think I have everything winterized, my Sister-in-law will take care of the barn cat(s), my resident tenant will take care of security, and with a tiny bit of help from the almighty, I'll be headed for Pensacola on Saturday. Then on to Ocala, then probably toward Stewart and who knows where else.

Or. . . maybe I'll just hang out in Silver Springs and drown worms. Not sure just yet. But whatever it is, it's not going to revolve around phone calls and deadlines. So wish me luck going through Atlanta and let's get this party on the road!
