I welcome anyone and everyone to add to this list of what you carry in your RV toolbox. I may come back and edit and link up the actuals I own and where I got them. But for now and for starters I'll start listing things out as I recently reorganized my tools so it's sort of fresh in my mind:
  • Screw drivers from compact versions to larger ones as sometimes you have to get into tight places inside the coach
  • Pliers, vice grips, channel locks (more for getting sewer covers off at the CG), a few clamps should I need to glue something back together
  • Dewalt powered screwdriver (I have the gyro one), Dewalt drill, Dewalt impact driver, all cordless
  • Caulk gun
  • Dicor, Silicone, Sikaflex 221, Sikaflex 252, Skylight sealant (from when I had to replace one from hail damage)
  • Crescent adjustable wrench(es)
  • Wire cutters
  • Larger cutters I later added to remove pex clamps
  • Needle nose
  • Long needle nose when I had to remove the cotter pin from the Kwikee steps
  • Voltmeter
  • Clampmeter
  • Voltage detection pen (hold near 120V or 12V to determine if there's power)
  • Wire tracing device
  • Hammer
  • Hatchet
  • Pole Saw
  • Stick Ladder (stored above chassis rail) (okay, it's not in the toolbox, but for some reason I wanted to list it)
  • Various screws, wire nuts, wire crimps, butt connectors, spade connectors
  • Wire stripper
  • Wire crimper
  • Pex crimp tool
  • Assorted hose clamps
  • Various glues (JB weld, epoxy, etc.)
  • Electrical tape
  • Rescue tape
  • Pipe sealant tape
  • Various lubes (silicone spray, wd-40)
  • Brake cleaner spray
  • T-9 lube
  • Hose pinch off pliers (2) in the event I have to replace an OASIS pump
  • Toolkit that has the assorted wrenches, knife, sockets, T bits
  • Assorted pieces box like a plano tackle box with various screws and things collected over time
  • Oil filter wrench for onan service
Some things are not "in" the toolbox but I'd say they are camping essentials for maintenance so feel free to open your lists up with that in mind.

Now you've done it! 😄

I guess I need to go out and make a list of everything in my toolbox and peripheral containers. Probably should have it for insurance purposes anyway.

I'll need to crack mine open too and see how I did and what I missed :)

I’m depressed.
I’m not prepared.
I’m not worthy.
I’m scared.
I quit.
