We are staying one nite at the Ameristar Casino RV Park. It’s at exit 1a. There is another one very close to this one and it’s not as good as this one and there is really nothing special about this one either. But for a stop over it totally works
Got to Meridian,MS today. It’s a no frills campground but it’s in a great area with shopping and eating. Every spot is on a concrete pad but the roads are very dusty crushed rocks. A beautiful lake to walk around or fish is less than a mile up the road.
We just pulled into Columbus, GA, Lake Pines RV Park. They have gravel areas for the coach but concrete for the tables. Beautiful when we drive in with lakes on both sides. Area has a lot to offer. Nice for a stop over or a two nighter.
We have left Florida for our summer travels and stopped here for the night. This is the nicest Love’s RV stop we have seen, there are 37 sites both backi in and pull thru sites 75’ long. Yes they even have a pickle ball court.

Finally got to Hilton Head yesterday. We are staying at Hilton Head National RV park and it is one of our top 3 locations we have been to. Paved roads and sidewalks, all concrete pads, come with tables and fire pits, trails around the entire park that go through the trees and woods. Two club houses and an over 21 area that has their own gate to get into. Tons of activities plus we are like 10-15 minutes from the beaches. They also have a nice size dog ru for your fur babies too Laundry facilities are very clean and they have like 10-12 of each. Also, pickleball courts and a lazy river around the pool.

Lake Halbert right outside Corsicana, Tx
Only 6 or 7 RV spots available. $35.00 a night. 50 amp and water, no sewer. Corsicana owns this lake. Very well maintained. Nice getaway right at home. 5 minutes off IH45 and eateries.
This is a city campground which was updated last summer to include asphalt roads including pads. They also upgraded all sites to full hookup. Mostly level sites and long enough for toad.
Short 10 day trip first to Dade City at Travelers Rest RV to get two vent windows done at Suncoast then on Titusville for Jeep Beach in Daytona and see our son and his new bride before he gets transferred to TX for his next station. Travelers Rest, 35.00 on Passport America. Good cable, great Verizon and TMobile. 9 hole golf course complete with wood storks.
Oh, and steamed oysters at Ollie's on the beach. Garlic, butter, horse radish, bacon and mozzarella!
We are visiting our granddaughter who is attending University Southern Miss.
Nice park and 15 minutes from school. Road leading topark is narrow and not sure enough room for on-coming RV.
