Back in Ft Myers FL at our winter digs in time to vote today. Also just in time for tropical storm to make its way through tonight and tomorrow. Swell!! Great ATT and Verizon and Starlink RV over 100mb down. Yes I still need to replace the strip of siding lost to Ian, is supposed to be in stock next week. We got very lucky all things considered.

That looks like a nice place Scott. I'm looking for somewhere to park my rig during the winter months. It looks like you've got a park model or casita? If you don't mind, where is this?

Jim, I’m not sure if it is the same place that Scott is at but you should check out Golden Palms Luxury Motorcoach Resort on Golden Palms Circle, Fort Myers. It is relatively new and very nice place.

Hi Jim, it is called Cypress Woods RV Resort. Www.cypresswoodsrv.net. They no longer allow park models to be added, and the park has about 25% park models currently. There is a link on their site to the new addition Laguna Caribe that is under construction now, geared to only class A RV's, and much larger casitas. I dont have any pricing on those. Due to that expansion, the older part of the park is about to allow larger casitas as well. We bought here for well under 200K with many of the ammenities of the 400-500K up places in S Florida. The trade off is its not Naples/Marco Island, but we like it so far. Nice friendly neighbors and things to do if you want or just sit and relax if you want. I do see a really nice Newell parked here that the owners leave here but have not occupied for the season yet. Prevost parked next to me, and a ton of 5th wheels here. Let me know if you have any other questions. I know the office has a list of lots for sale they could probably email to you. EDIT - the list of for sale lots is on the website.

Centramatic in Alvarado, TX. Makes my wheels go round and round, always in balance. OTA is 0, AT&T was satisfactory, highway noise was atrocious, but the product and service are awesome and price was right! And the added benefit was being indoors for some of the rain.

Good looking coach, Buddy!

Thanks Jim! We agree with you, but have this bias... Of course, it's not a London Aire, which is an awesome coach, too! I guess we're both just AireHeads.

Saturday we decided to take the DS out for the night so we went to Jackson Rancheria Casino RV park. Rained the entire time which was just fine with us, wanted to see how foul weather glamping would be. When we got there we were greeted by 40 plus Tiffen coaches enjoying a round up! We felt like fish out of water but met some great folks. After a few conversations with a few owners though we were very happy that we went the extra mile and chose to buy a new Dutch Star rather than an Allegro Bus.
We had a fun one night trip and hit a Royal Flush on video poker that paid for the fill up to boot! We have decided to check out all the Casinos with RV accommodations with in 100 miles of home as quick one or two night get aways.

Life Northwest RV Harrisburg Oregon. Small park which is part of a local church. Only here as it is convenient to Coburg Oregon where we had RV Glass Solutions replace our windshield and Freightliner to have the PDM recall and some other service work. Also near Guaranty RV (now Bish’s) where some of our frameless windows are being replaced (Newmar is paying for the windows even 5 years later). Gonna snow in the passes headed back to California so I invested in a set of Easysoxs after following @Neal’s debacle a year or so ago. Hope I don’t have to use them!
