Back in Ft Myers FL at our winter digs in time to vote today. Also just in time for tropical storm to make its way through tonight and tomorrow. Swell!! Great ATT and Verizon and Starlink RV over 100mb down. Yes I still need to replace the strip of siding lost to Ian, is supposed to be in stock next week. We got very lucky all things considered.

My Brother owns and operates this glider port about 60 miles from my place in Vacaville. We stopped by for a visit and then on Saturday continued up I-5 to Rolling Hills Casino Resort in Corning. We have decided to start poking around Northern CA, places within a few hours drive for weekend trips. Several of the Casinos have very nice RV parks attached so restaurants and entertainments are nearby. As we take these trips we are gradually figuring out what we need onboard and what we don't. Once I get the Canyon set up as our toad we will start Boondocking further off the grid.

Rolling Hills is right on I-5 so serves as a great stop for left coast travelers and as such I was not surprised to see three other late model Newmar Dutch Stars in the park. I met one of the owners of a 2020 4081 who happened to buy his from the same dealer we used. We had a great chat and it was good to hear that he is having very good reliability with his rig. I look forward to running into similar folks in the future.
We had an uneventful weekend with the exception of a drive belt on the engine developing a nasty squeal that did not disappear when the engine warmed up. I replaced the belt today and that fixed it. I only have 3200 miles on her so I hope that is just a fluke.

Three night shakedown run to Margaritaville in Buford GA. Leaned a bunch about our coach that we didn't know before taking this trip. Getting ready to head for Orlando, Stewart, and beyond, hopefully before the snow starts to fall.

Beautiful coach @Jim. Many years of safe and enjoyable travels to you guys.

And if you haven’t checked out this thread in awhile, you might give it a quick perusal for some easy tips.

I saw a LA with the same color scheme heading South in Sarasota on I-75. I thought it was you heading to the real Margarita Ville in the keys.

Sigh, not me unfortunately. We were looking at Blue Water Key earlier in the month, but you have to book a year ahead most of the time. Just couldn't being the dates together. But maybe next year. :)
