Spent the Holiday weekend at Canyon Creek at Lake Berryessa just 30 mins drive from the house. I drove up on Wednesday to be sure we were able to snag our favorite premium site as it is first come first served there. Our spot was open which set the stage for a great weekend. Except for the two Rattle Snakes that wondered thru the site while we were there we had a nice relaxing stay. This was the first trip since the FWS debacle and thankfully all systems on the coach are working normally. Hope everyone had an enjoyable Memorial day weekend and retuned home unscathed.

It was actually yesterday...Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic CT. With a chick-flick side trip to Mystic Pizza so Mrs Allison could have the experience.

Love that area. Spent quite a few weekends, when in port, around there when stationed in Groton.

I’d recommend the submarine museum in Groton as well, if that interests you. Have seen pictures of pieces of my first boat in the museum (USS Billfish SSN 676).

NW Missouri Family Farm. Harvest host.
30amp service, welcome basket of Blueberry Muffins and oatmeal cookies. Use of summer outdoor kitchen and deck. Great hosts. Very inviting and friendly. Was great just sitting outside on the farm chatting with the hosts.

TMobile Home. 89 down 60 up.

Prairie Grass Ranch. Harvest Host. Cheyenne WY. A goat farm (with turkeys, dogs, and chickens). Just down the road from Curt Gowdy State Park. Wide open field to park rig with tow still connected. No leveling required. We are the only ones here tonight. If you are into it, you can milk the goats at 7:30 am. At 7:30 pm they wrangle the goats and secure them for the night.

TMobile home. 68 down 15 up.

Sitting at Gaffney service center for annual maintenance tomorrow morning.

Dutch Star and Ventana here as well.

There is also a London Aire here.

Did see a stack of RV Forums pamphlets in the lobby when we checked in.
