3 nights at Lakeside RV "resort" by Rjourney near BatonRouge. Quite a few local workers in trailers here, but mostly quiet with long pull throughs. Unfortunately, park seems a bit run down. Dog park is a joke. (I guess I'm just spoiled by or last stop.) Onward to Texas Sunday to see our son, then North to HWH and Bauer for some repairs.

Hope you will be pleased with Bauer as we were. It was a very good experience with a family company who really cared. Judy D

St. Vrain State Park Firestone, Colorado

Yesterday I left Sundance, WY after an enjoyable 2 weeks spending time exploring the rural areas of Wyoming and South Dakota. This will be my last trip through the Front Range in my coach until next Spring. I am looking forward to spending time with family and some of my Grandchildren. I am bringing my coach to my home dealer TransWest Tuesday morning to have a window controller installed on my living room window that somehow broke while out on the Bonneville Salt Flats. I fortunately was also able to schedule a medical procedure next week that I need before hitting the road. I am going to have a busy week and I'm not looking forward to dealing with the freakin traffic madness!!! 🤬

Boomtown RV , Rose City TX for a week visit with my son and his new gf. Kind of busy on this labor day weekend, but I'm sure most will vacate by Monday afternoon. Nice level concrete pull thru's, good Verizon and Tmobile signal. Nice breeze of the lake makes the heat bearable. [just noticed this morning, we are the only class A in the entire park] 😳

Catherine’s landing. Mostly empty, but it’s a big park so still several rigs. Beautiful weather. 205/45 on Starlink.

One nighter at Texarkana RV Park. Easy in and out, gravel sites. Nice stopover.

On the way to Branson in the morning.

Lakeshore RV park Hollister MO till Saturday. Nice views from the windshield and finally some cool temps. Level concrete pad, double wide, new electric and water, very clean. Three beautiful Newell coaches here now. 🤑
Now If all my Amazon deliveries make it, I'll be happy!

Mountain Views RV Resort Creede, Colorado

Sunday I drove down to Creede, CO from the Front Range to meet up with the Newmar Kountry Klub Colorado Kruisin Aires for their Colorado State Rally. This rally is being cosponsored by my home dealer TransWest in Frederick, CO. There are 23 Newmar coaches in attendance and also in attendance are the TransWest mobile technicians for house and chassis repairs if needed. I will post in another thread information about the TransWest mobile operation. TransWest is also represented by the service managers from the house and chassis shops, their RV sales manager Brian Moritz , and my salesperson Katie O'Neil. Also in attendance are the Newmar Kountry Klub International Directors Beth and Jamie Smith.

KOA Journey Monument Valley, Utah

Left Creede, CO this morning and slogged over Wolf Creek Pass along my way. Probably my least favorite high mountain pass as the West side descent is an 8% grade. Any vehicle above a 26,000 pound GVWR cannot exceed 25 mph on the West side descent. Yes, that means us and from what I was being told this week in Creede the Colorado State Patrol is enforcing this speed limit for trucks and RVs. Today I drove in CO, NM, AZ, and UT. As I make my way West I've got 3 touch and go stops along my way to San Diego. Only hooking up power... (y)

While I am in San Diego I will be hanging out with friends and making trips up to West Hollywood, where my oldest daughter lives, to meet my newest Grandaughter.

KOA Holiday Flagstaff, Arizona

Rolled over to Flagstaff, AZ today from Monument Valley for another touch and go as I make my way to the West Coast. Today was a short drive as I needed to tend to some personal business. The wind has been howling the past couple of days but today I fortunately had a following wind... (y)

Sonoran Desert RV Park Gila Bend, Arizona

I had a very pleasant drive from Flagstaff, AZ down to Gila Bend, AZ today. Mostly Interstate travel and the road conditions were enjoyable with light traffic and only a couple of single lane closures on I-17. And there was relatively NO WIND today!!! Another touch and go and then it's off to Mission Bay in San Diego where I will hang out for 2 weeks. Having been enjoying pleasant temperatures in the high country of CO and AZ it is hot... hot... hot in the desert. Currently 98 degrees and I might see 100... 🥵 It is very sparsely populated in the park, to no surprise, because it is stilI hot here in the desert. I have some good friends to hang out with in San Diego but I will be bouncing up and down to West Hollywood to see my oldest daughter and my newest Granddaughter... 😁
