In MarkMaxPayne's first pic, that's me and hubs with the second white toad, but facing forward. Our 2019 BayStar 3414 is soooo comfortable!

As mentioned, we attended our very first rally. It was in Bend OR, and it was supurb! We stayed at a new RV resort, called Bend RV Resort, which was a lovely comfortable space. I liked the paw patios, right next to our coach. Those made it so much easier with two dogs, vs long leads tied to the coach.

Lots to do, friendships made, sights to be seen, terrific meals, and all in all, pleasant weather. I give it an A+.

We arrived Friday for a 4 month stay in Montana. In 7 years staying here I have never seen the Cadis/Mayflies hatch this early.

St. Vrain State Park Firestone, Colorado

I rolled up to St. Vrain State Park just North of Denver on Monday. After getting set up I was having power issues with the power pedestal. The maintenance crew determined the 50 amp receptacle needed to be replaced so I was relocated to another site temporarily until they could get that done. The 50 amp receptacle was replaced Tuesday morning but the weather was cold and wet so I wasn't motivated to move. The forecast for later was for up to 6 inches of snow overnight... 🤬 🥶 I moved my service appointment with my dealer I had for today to tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will clear today and I will be able to keep my service appointment. I pulled my slides in last night before the predicted snow was to arrive so I've been living in close quarters... :( All is good and we didn't get the amount of snow that was forecasted overnight... (y)

We have been up on Pikes Peak before. To much golf to play to work that in. 🤠🤠🤠

We were back at Camp Hatteras in the OBX last week. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day are nearly always good times to visit if you are crowd-averse.

Monument RV Resort Fruita, Colorado

I left the Front Range Sunday morning, a day earlier than planned, because of weather moving into the Rocky Mountains Sunday night into Monday. Springtime in the Rockies is a time you need to be aware of the rapidly changing weather conditions. Snow was forecasted for the mountains and I was going to be crossing the Continental Divide slogging over a few high mountain passes with elevations of 10-11,000+ feet. My drive over on Sunday was pleasant and enjoyable and it felt awesome being in the Rockies after spending my Winter in the desert. While I was on the Front Range I had all of my annual services completed, house and chassis, as well as a few piddly things taken care of at my home dealer, TransWest in Frederick, CO. Monument RV Resort, where I have stayed numerous times, is right down the road from Monument National Park and in close proximity to the Grand Mesa, as well as West Slope towns of Montrose, Ouray, the Million Dollar Highway, and Silverton. I will be having an enjoyable time in Colorful Colorado during my 10 days here... 😁 😎

Million Dollar Highway is on my bucket list. Don't know when we will get there though.
