Ivy Acres in Piedmont SC for 4 nights. Level site, great ATT and Tmobile service. Lots of hiking area cool temps and extremely quiet.

Distant Drums RV Resort Camp Verde, Arizona


I left the Balloon Fiesta Wednesday after having an awesome week dry camping with all of the NKK attendees. I did a touch and go Wednesday night at the Holbrook Petrified Forest KOA. Today I drove down to Camp Verde where I will be until next Thursday. Distant Drums RV Resort, although not on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, the resort is owned by the Yavapai-Apache Nation. I will roll down the road Thursday to Casa Grande, AZ and get settled in for the Winter at Palm Creek Resort...

Left Ivy Acres a day early to avoid driving in the expected rain. Now at Hilton Head National till Wed. We stayed here once before for a Hoots rally I believe in '23. Nice place but everything is three times the price. Location..... Anyway, supposed to meet up with @ARD on Tues for a few laughs. Headed home in a couple weeks.

I decided to take hubs over to the beach. He was raised in Crescent City CA, and still loves the beachy areas.

We are in Lincoln City OR. The weather is just about perfect! No wind, highs in the low 60's, and very few clouds in sight. We're going to the beach today. I don't think these two cattle dogs have ever seen the ocean.

It's

a close-knit park - a Premier park, part of their network. Any Class A bigger than ours (37') would have a tough time navigating the little tight turns. But it's lovely, quiet, and even though 101 is a bit below us, it's very quiet.

If you aren't in a hurry to get to Crescent City a beautiful stop over is Winchester Bay Resort. It is another great Oregon Coast stay. Winchester Bay RV Resort at Salmon Harbor Marina • Oregon Coast It's about 90 miles south of Lincoln.

I think we stayed there years ago, with our 5th wheel and the grandkids.
