HH, you are practically retracing my steps this summer in the Black Hills. Love that place. That tunnel will make you clench body parts no matter what you’re driving.

Hi Neemer: You got that right. We were stuck in the tunnel because they were arguing who was to go next. I couldn’t even open my Jeep doors.

Looks like an amazing journey. Thanks for sharing.

Safe travels

You are very welcome AD. Glad you like some of the pics.

Tatanka visitors center, story of the Buffalo. Was built and paid for by Kevin Costner. He still owns it today. He dedicated it to the Lakota Indians.
That bronze sculpture is the third largest in the world.

Deadwood is a fun place.

It’s more fun when there are not 50,000 motorcycles in town.

Stopped for one night in Deer Park RV in Buffalo Wyoming. Only three OTA channels they have cable, and a pool. Parked me between trees so close couldn’t open up my awning.

Next stop is 7th Ranch RV Park in Garryowen Montana. Nice park. Only 3 OTA channels, no cable. 50 amp full hook up. No pool.

Stopped at Battle of Little Bighorn National Park. Not much here except Custers last stand. Grave stones mark the spot where Custer and about 42 of what was left of his 5 companies

Drove 200 miles to Cody Wyoming KOA. There were some really nice sites. Unfortunately mine wasn’t one of them. Crammed in here. 25 OTA channels, full cable, 50 amp full hook up.

Spent the day in Cody Wyoming. The Buffalo Bill Museum is Amazing. You need like two days to see everything.

We did a dinner, show, and another rodeo yesterday.

Had dinner at the famous Irma Hotel , built in Cody in 1902. Watched the gunfight reenactment after dinner.

We are still exploring Cody Wyoming. We went to Old Town. 25 different cabins, saloons, and stores from the late 1890s.

Then went to Buffalo Bill dam. At 350 ft it was the tallest dam in the world in 1906. Built with concrete and rocks no steel.

Drove about 150 miles to Buffalo Crossing RV Park. In West Yellowstone MT. Nice level lot. Only 7 OTA channels. Typical three bar Verizon Jetpack. Full hookups 50 amp.
We drove through East Yellowstone entrance to get here. A lot of delays with road construction where the roads were washed out by the flood. Still a beautiful ride. Yellowstone lake is Hughe. It runs for miles and miles.

Hey Jim and Mem it still looks like your having a great time. I had my high school reunion this past weekend, had a great time until we got home and then I tested positive for covid. Linda tested positive yesterday. We are getting better. Hope you continue to have a good time!

Well touring around Yellowstone National Park. It was our first NP dedicated in 1872 by president Ulysses S Grant. All 2.219 million acres. It is the third biggest in the USA.

This is called a Buffalo jam.
