I just had my week at Camp Newmar moved up from mid-November to the last week of Sept. I was a little concerned about the weather and was on the cancellation list and just received an email today with four choices for an earlier visit. So now I can relax and not worry about weather windows coming or going and just turn it in to a nice drive in the country.

Amazingly surprised to find that thanks to a cancellation I am able to get our Bay Star in mid-October to get a major boo-boo fixed. Still for sooner but I’ll take what I was able to get thankfully.

Those boo-boos really weigh on you and from experience I know you can’t get them fixed too soon!

Depending on how bad, ProFlex RV and touch op paint works wonders. Don't ask how I know.

We stopped by Newmar on our way home from Alaska to pick out tile for complete replacement, that was scheduled for December. While there they asked if we could leave the coach because of some cansolations, they could start the work sooner. I said absolutely! It was our first time there, very impressive with how they operate.

They told us that people are canceling appointments, due to the economy.

The cancellations should help get our warranty list knocked out when we get there Sept 10 for work to start on the 11th.

All minor things and some paint corrections which will be the most time consuming I think.

Good news is, after being in it full time for 8 months, the list has only minor fixes other than the paint and those are small areas.

Well, just had to post that this place is a pretty impressive service center.

Been a while since I had to set my alarm for 5 am so we were ready when the stream of golf carts with the techs came out at 6:04 to get the coaches.

Warranty work is free but the dang parts store is open so it is costing us to be here

If you get a chance could you ask what the current daily production rate is off the line. In better times it was around 9 coaches a day. Wonder what it is now?

We are doing the factory tour tomorrow and will ask.
