Has anyone had an RV dealer/repair shop perform the temporary fix on the Winnebago 12-30l-2024 recall for the hood brackets coming loose? WB still has no "permanent" fix, but told me that WB will pay for authorized repair centers to do a "temporary" fix. I took my Adventurer 30T to a dealer this week for a couple of other minor issues, and the service writer did not seem to know anything about the recall or the temporary fix. I'm wondering what it is. My driver side bracket came completely off on a recent trip - only the little rod kept it from falling out of the engine compartment onto the highway. The passenger side is about to come off. I had to use a bungee cord around the hood, hooked to the passenger side wiper shaft to hold the hood from dropping down and banging the whole way to the dealer.
