This applies to speeds en excess of 50Mph over the speed limit or; over 100mph and endangering others.

That second part is the real issue in many states. The Mario kart driving where traffic is going 85-90, and the lane weavers posting TikTok and cutting in and out of traffic are what is causing many accidents and deaths.

California and Texas are actively patrolling for Mario kart with California having a special task force in several counties.

The Texas DPS has authorized overtime for a task force of 100 officers to try to stop this but until laws are harder , it’s not going to stop.

Florida’s I75 corridor between Naples and Tampa is one of the worst stretches I have seen, so hopefully this law will help.

Was passed by two of them in Corpus Christi last night, both had flashers on weaving in and out at excessive speed on the causeway at Flour Bluff.

I wish there was a law for the morons who drive 20 in a 35 claiming, if you drive 20 the lovebugs go over the car. I asked, what about when you get to the main road. She said, well if you go right there are no lovebugs, only if you go left. Yes, this is Florida

Seems there are a lot more "wanna-be" NASCAR drivers out there these days. I try to avoid heavily traveled roads (which is also a challenge) and try to avoid heavy traffic times. I pray these efforts will temper the trend of wild and crazy driving. I'm not holding my breath however...be safe y'all 😊 Blessings

Don’t find anything wrong with NASCAR “wanna be”s if they are truly skilled.🏁🏎️😉
