Okay, I'm late to the party. Built my first DEF Sensor Simulator for my Spartan Chassis Rig during my lunch break today. Probably one of the easiest RV project I've worked on. Find the instructions (DEF Sensor Simulator – CanBed RP2040 – DEF Sensor Simulator), order the parts, wait for them to arrive, cut a newly purchased cable, solder 4 pins on a PC circuit board to a connector, connect everything up, fire up the computer and plug the circuit card into to it via micro USB cable, press a couple buttons on it as instructed, copy a file I downloaded with the install image for the software to the card, disconnect from the computer, go to the rig and test it out.
We're talking like < 15 minutes in total once all my parts had arrived and I had read the instructions. Easy peasy! Now it sits next to my SilverLeaf OmniScope waiting for that day if/when I might need it. Great insurance policy for sure!
