How did you like the trip across "Galloping Gertie;" the Tacoma Narrows Bridge? The original bridge was completed in 1940 and collapsed into the Tacoma Narrows during a vicious windstorm four months after opening to traffic. A little online research will turn up some amazing videos (motion pictures at that time) of Ol' Gertie "galloping" herself to destruction. The new bridge has had no problems.

Not a problem, Rick. We are still operating off the fresh water we brought with us. Thanks for the heads-up though. I was unaware of the issue here.

Fort Collins Lakeside KOA

Point Hudson Marina & Rv Park, Port Townsend Washington. Great spot on the north end of Puget Sound. Decent WiFi and good Verizon signal. Not the cleanest spot but what a view!

Swore I wold never come back to this campground, but here I am...back at the Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA. Miz Sophie has her surgery on her ruptured ACL next week at CSU. BONUS! Got to meet @GlampDaddy and his lovely wife. Shout out to GlampDaddyMomma as it's her birthday today. ?? Will also post the apocalyptic sun that greeted me when I arrived. FREAKY! @TJ&LadyDi, I did not alter the red sun photo. ? The day after I arrived, it snowed which really helped the Cameron fire and the smoky skies. Cell service is not great here. Posted that info in the Cellular Travel Log thread.
