Battery Isolation Manager (BIM) location

Can someone tell me where the BIM is located on our RV? I've looked in the front under the hood, front left electrical compartment, around the chassis batteries, etc. Am I looking for a BIM similar to the picture below? I am in the process of upgrading to Lithium so the BIM needs to be upgraded to a BIM that supports Lithium.

Interested in this topic. The RV has a flooded acid chassis battery and LiFeO coach batteries. Currently using a standard BIRD with a solenoid relay.

I am not positive where it is located on a Ventana but suspect it will be the same as the Dutch Star, located behind panel in the power cord bay.

as @NWIP indicated, if my coach has one, I would expect it to be in the bay that houses the shorepower cable. I'm perdy sure mine has a BIRD, which is a bird of another color from a BIM.

Thanks NWIP and RandyB for suggestions on location. Yes, the BIM is located behind the shorepower cable behind a velcro attached front panel. I'll need to check if the wires are straightforward to transfer to the LI-BIM. I've attached a picture for reference.

Needs to be where you can connect both the house batteries and the crank/starter batteries. If you find that you need to make the cables longer an excellent source for cables and solder type connectors is delcity.com.

Yup behind the cord reel. Easy conversion, just keep wiring consistent.

Interesting note. It appears that the BIM does essentially the same routine as the B.I.R.D/relay combination. Curious if the B.I.R.D/relay combination can be replaced with a BIM without ill effect?

Jumping on am older thread, but I'm having issues with my 2020 Kountry Star chassis batteries not charging while on shore power. I have both a bim and the intellitec BIRD, which seems redundant but the coach came with them so I'm not sure where the problem might be.

Newmar had mis-wired the BIM 225 coach and chassis cables. I was able to pull enough slack in the two cables to put them on the right terminals. I think others have had to flip the BIM upside down in order to get the cables to the correct terminals.
