Last week my 6 months old iPad stopped charging while in Hershey PA. Apple was great on the phone and arranged for me to exchange it for a new one in Traverse Mi.

Buy may I ask what you went too?

They exchanged it for the same iPad Air I had. Think it is the 9.5” model?

Thanks Neal that is some real important info to know. I'll make sure she gets a charger to fit the iPad she gets.

Use the one it comes with is the key. iPhone charge bricks are lower wattage than the iPad ones.

I use only the charger supplied with the iPad. Just that suddenly it stopped taking charge. It was tested at the store, and they agreed that it failed internally.
