We are fortunate that we are able to store our DS in our backyard. We made a decision many years ago to not lock the coach or basement thinking we would rather a thief got access without ruining doors by trying to pry them open. This process has also been a practice of ours (with the basement doors) while we travel. Maybe we have been fortunate that we have never been victims of theft in our 15 years of class A rving. What do you all do when it comes to locking up the Class A?

Always lock them after being in a CG when I was on a RV caravan and kids of long term residents were going into basements.

Sad, sad.

Likewise lock everything everywhere. Even in storage which is controlled by a door with a key. Just a habit I guess.

I lock mine, too.

I even lock my naked jeep...

Not locking doors on unattended property of any kind just creates what is known as an "attractive nuisance." Locks won't deter determined bad guys, but they will keep basically honest people honest. We lock ours when we're not present.

Mine are unlocked here at the house (coach is behind a 7 ft fence). When traveling I lock them so they don't open by themselves. When I am leaving the coach for a while I lock everything up otherwise I unlock them. I lock them at night when using the rig.

Always locked, even when home in the back yard with fence around it.
