Good day all,
Looking for all the peeps out there with EBikes. So many different ones to choose from so I am coming here to find out which ones have lasing power and can haul my fat butt. I figure the best way to decide is to ask the people that own them and get the Pro's and Cons.
Thanks for...
We carry the e bikes on our recever with a quality carrier designed for ebikes,I might suggest some sort of chain binder to keep it from bouncing and a camera to keep a eye on it. We remove our batteries when transporting bikes long distances, this helps with the weight.
Has anyone installed higher lights on the back of a Jayco Feather travel trailer because of the existing lights being covered up by the object in the trailer's tow hitch ? In my case it is Ebikes in a rack . My idea would be to go straight up from the existing lights.
Hi Guys:
For those of you that have ebikes where do you charge them from at a campground? Choices are either from the power pedestal, can use a step down plug, or directly from one of the bays from the coach?

Coincidentally, I met another Hideout owner at the same park who encountered the exact problem. His dealer was clueless and gave him a receiver for the bumper and told him to go ahead and mount his ebikes. Same failure with the welds.
We stayed there last year on our way home from visiting daughter in MN. We had a blast, they have free ebikes we took downtown. We also rented a golf cart that was delivered to our site, you can drive them on any roads that are either 30 or 35 mph.
I have two full size ebikes that do not fold. 55 lbs each w/o batteries. We carry them with a Hollywood Bike rack. The rack has been great. ETrailer.com can help to.
We have a Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter with 2" or 4" Drop/Rise. Get the size needed for your toad if you are...
Have not read much if anything good other than the Newmar techs and getting things fixed. Sad. Read about ebikes getting stolen, and all of the other nonsense. Maybe NKK will learn in the future if you're going to have a big event maybe coordinate security.
Any 120V outlet should work. Either from the pedestal or if any are available from your basements. Some ebikes such as my Trek Powerfly 4 the battery can be removed and charged inside the coach.
Is this just to carry the ebikes, or is the riser also being used for a hitch to tow something? If the riser is just for the ebikes, you can use a hitch tightener like this...

Hi Rich, I was in an RV park in coastal San Diego county last Jan where I know the owners, and they indicated they were having ebikes stolen nightly. Sign of the times I'm sad to say.
...I’ll call - it’s almost always the best way to get things done. These bikes are class 1 unless you do a firmware change. I found this article and chart on the three classes interesting - I didn’t even know about this a few days ago.
What Are the Classes of Ebikes? Where Can Ebikes Be Ridden?
