    If you're looking to sustain yourself off grid for a time you'd need something substantial. Even Lightship with it's massive solar admits that it's time off grid when running the a/c is reduced considerably.

    I talked to a guy at Rock Springs rally about lithium battery install.For about $4500 you could get 3 lithium batteries that the 1 AC could run 6 hours continuos with 2 batteries, 3 would run longer. Not really a need for solar.
