    On our way to Alaska

I have 3 thermacells and they work great. I also like to light up mosquito sticks which work well too. Murphy's Naturals Mosquito Repellent Incense Sticks | DEET Free with Plant Based Essential Oils | 2.5 Hour Protection | 12 Sticks per Carton | 2 Pack Amazon.com

    Situational Awareness at all Times

This article was a wake up call for me. I frequent rest areas quite a bit to eat lunch, walk Sophie and when I get in a jam when "winging it," which doesn't happen often, I will sleep in one. I typically look at reviews, security etc. on Trucker's Path before doing so and I always conceal carry...

    Situational Awareness at all Times

I just read a heartbreaking article about a couple that stopped in their motorhome at a Nebraska rest stop. Please fellow travels, stay aware and keep safe. We are living in a crazy world. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nebraska-highway-rest-area-attack-man-killed-wife-injured/

Eliijay GA RT 76 from I-75?

OMGosh! My Garmin and I almost got a divorce when I went there a couple of years ago. It put me on the worst roads from Sevierville to Elijay. I was 30 minutes away and it took me an hour. 😂 I go back to Talona Ridge in September. 🙏🏼 Have fun @Joe Hogan and @FLSteve. 😊

    Open roads

There was a new post today on TSD's FB page. You CAN find fuel stops on your route. I had no idea. When you see the map, click on green tree looking icon on the lower left corner of screen and you can plan your route. @jagpot I do still use it.

@sheridany no, no, no UNLESS there is something very purty in a small box in the grill.

@GlampDaddy, I watched a video on YouTube Cooking with CG and he made a brisket on the grill and oven and the one in the oven came out better per he and his wife and had more smoke. I dunno. Decisions. Decisions.

Sigh. Y'all are making me spend my pennies. I have been silently reading this thread, reading the posts from the FB page that @GlampDaddy recommended and watching Cooking with CJ on YouTube. Now I'm debating between the small Ninja Woodfire Grill or the Oven (can do pizza). I love my current...

Deploying jacks w/out dumping air bags (not related to slide operation)

I feel your pain. I can't air level as I have a slow leak on irv2 line from secondary air tank most probably due to Newmar's sloppy work - welding splatter when putting house on chassis. Safe travels friends. Hope they get you all fixed up.

Deploying jacks w/out dumping air bags (not related to slide operation)

In my opinion, it’s still too risky. After seeing the potential consequences of overextending, I would travel, search for a site as flat as possible, remain aired up, and not use the jacks.

Deploying jacks w/out dumping air bags (not related to slide operation)

Spoke with Chris at Spartan and he does not think it is a good idea to extend jacks without dumping. You could pull the shock apart like what happened to a customer here (I saw the photo 😳) , or damage air bag. The danger is over extending. If you do try it, he said stop as soon as jack touches...

VERY DISCOURAGED. Travel Trailer vs Cargo Trailer Conversion?

in the interim, perhaps watch some YouTube videos on overland camping and expos. It is amazing how vehicles are being outfitted. With your artistic mind, I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Good luck.
