Wondering if there is a way to reduce dash clutter. I can use CarPlay for my maps and music. I have a monitor for my tirepressure and I’m thinking about adding camera(s). I really don’t like things on the dash so I was thinking there must be a way to view what I want on just one small monitor...
Does anyone use or have used tirepressuremonitors ( like tire minder ).Looking for some opinions on if they work and are worth getting, thanks for any help.
TPMS = tirepressuremonitoring system not static tirepressure check. The TPMS purpose is to detect changes in tirepressures and tire temp providing a warning to driver something is not correct and should be addressed. a "Warning" usually associated with safety. I think possibly you just...
Is there a way to monitor OEM in wheel sensors with an aftermarket TPMS reader/screen?
The Ford Flex has in wheel TPMS sensors and I'd like not to add extra valve stem sensors in order to read tire air pressure from the RV. I wonder if an EEZ system can be programmed to read the OEM sensor?
A post below reminded me
I’m interested in a TPMs system
like most things in my life it’s complex. I have six trailers
two will see cross country use. I’m not a big fan of things that screw on to a valve stem but I have not found an add on system that has an internal sensor.
how are these...
We have the new Tire Minder system and to set the low and high pressure it uses 20% above and 15% below the preferred cold pressure setting. We set our rear tires to 95 PSI which gives us a high-pressure warning of 114 PSI and low pressure warning 89 PSI. Going a short 50-mile trip to get the...
I chose the TST Truck TPMS before I took delivery of my 2017 Newmar Ventana. At that time it was the black LCD display which I really liked. I bought the repeater and mounted in the half bath for easy access to the 12V fuse panel to tap into for power. Works great with the toad in that location...
Well, I finally found what I’d been searching for, which was a more encompassing TireMonitoring System that turned out to be called the Trailer WatchDog system. It monitors individual tirepressures & temperatures, as well as individual hub temperatures. 👍
I saw this topic today since I now have a new TirePressureMonitoring System. Although the tire date code is old, you may like to consider that the tires have not been exposed to sunlight until installed. Sunlight is the killer of the tires. Drive your rig, whatever it may be. When you are...
We are experiencing repeated TirePressureMonitoring System failures have had one tire wear down to steel threads due to system failure any ideas or advice? 2021 American Dream 42v.
...Diamonds I’ll add that information as well. They did say they could be installed on the M2 since we don’t have the internal tirepressuremonitor.
Just as an update - the individual listed on the Red Diamond website as the email contact is out until after Christmas so that information...
If I may ride the coat-tail of this thread my TT has just two wheels, yet I’ve not seen anything available for just monitoring two wheels. That said and thinking ‘if’ I’m on my way to a flat sometime, with only two wheels, it's critical I know ASAP. So for some of the more seasoned RV’s here...
...tread reversion and the tire will begin to lose strength.
Avoiding weakening or damaging your tires is reason enough to use a TirePressureMonitoring System (TPMS) that includes temperature sensors and high temp alerts – but there’s also the pressure side of things. As a tire heats up, its...
Good find! However it Beggs the question. Why only 1 psi? Should have been 4 psi according to your find.
Ambient temperature is measured at eye level in the shade. Does that mean the temperature measurement was tire temperature of 100? But still! Only 1 psi with an increase of 21 degrees...
As mentioned above, best to check cold then verify after movement to be sure to sensors readings are current. Sensors will go to "sleep" after a certain period of inactivity, this is to save battery life.

Yes on the TST system. We have the initial color monitor and the 507 (non flow through) caps. Rebuild once a year with new gaskets and batteries in the caps.
Have been running for about 5 years since we got our first RV.
Saved us twice last year…
First time on 75 S about 5 miles from the FL...
Dealt with this same problem. Finally sat down last trip to take care of this. Put all tires at recommended pressure. Set high PSI at 20% more and Low at 10% deviation on the Trip tix monitor. Set temps at 160. Have not had a beep since.
...I haven’t been doing this since installing an aftermarket system as it would require me to remove the sensors every time (I should have selected flow-through sensors). Recent discussions on tires and tire failures have convinced me to go back to a more hands-on approach to tirepressure...
