    TPM sensor installation

What brand TPMS and type of sensors? Unless you are super slow putting the sensors on, you should really only loose a pound at the most. Don't forget, your gauge and the TPMS probably don't read exactly the same. You should have a few lbs "safety factor" in your desired pressure. Figure out...

FYI 2017 Chevy Colorado "Tire monitor system" message (TPMS sensor failure)

How many years did we go with cars that didn't have a TPMS? Now I do use TST sensors on them when towing behind the RV. I couldn't care less about a TPMS system in my car/truck otherwise.

    TPMS Recommendation

Looking into TPMS - looking into EEZ-Tire. Seems to meet our needs, but looking for advice. Thanks!

FYI 2017 Chevy Colorado "Tire monitor system" message (TPMS sensor failure)

Courtesy of AI. Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) were first introduced in 1986 in luxury and performance vehicles, but became a legal requirement in 2007:

    Good TPMS?

I am looking to purchase a new TPMS system and want to get one that will accommodate the Motorhome and the Toad. I have one now that I paid about $100, got a repeater and it only works right over the rear axles. I need one that will accommodate my 6 wheeler motorhome and my Jeep Cherokee...

    TPMS problem

Hi, I just installed a CAREUD TPMS system on my 6 tire RV (2 up front and 2 duals in the back). Unfortunately, only one tire is reading on the monitor. If you have any idea what the problem is, please advise. Thank you!

Truck System Tech TST-507 TPMS System

Truck System Technologies TST-507 TPMS System. Worked great and alerted us to low pressure on several occasions over the last 9 months however we moved our travel trailer to a permanent lot thus no longer need the system. Display, Mounts (dash and suction cup), Charger, Signal Repeater, 4...

    TPMS Best Aftermarket brand?

We used an EEZ RV TPMS system, but other brands include TireMinder and 507 Series. I'd skip the flow through sensors. Just a problem waiting to happen. Also, if not already equipped you might consider metal tire valves.

    Integrated TPMS as standard

Seems like a no brainer but a TPMS integrated into the glass dash should be standard on all lines with an option to add 4-6 additional valve stem sensors for towed vehicles/trailers

...found the answer yet but I did come across this interesting information. AAA conducted a series of tests on tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) in various vehicles to assess their effectiveness in detecting underinflated tires. Here's a summary of the key findings and recommendations...

How do I get the Toad TPMS talk to the Coach TPMS

Dear Newmar Owners; I have posted this on another forum but I am reposting here hoping for more input and ideas on how to make the car (Toad) TPMS talk to the coach TPMS. We have ordered/purchased a 2022 Newmar Essex and I'm trying to plan ahead; more specifically I'm trying to figure out how...

    TPMS Recommendation

This may have been covered earlier but can you tie the tow sensors into a Spartan chassis TPMS? I'd like to maintain factory FORD sensors in the tow to allow the in car TPMS to work.

...car that came with low profile tires. The tire was on about 60% air and discount refused to repair due to wall damage! Next car(truck) had tpms and I saw the benefits. 3 tires were saved by that tool, now I would have them replaced in a heart beat! At first sign of failure. Notice I...

    Question TPMS Question

I installed the TPMS that I bought at Amazon and as I traveled I noticed that the two inside rear tires would not show. I would stop and then undo the caps and put them back on again everything is set and seems to work then as I go down the road the 2 rear tires stop registering. Is it faulty...

    TPMS

Never heard of a TPS until I started reviewing camping / RV forums. Recently purchased the TST 507. I have a 2022 FR Wildcat 5th wheel. 36.5 foot pulling with a Ford F-250. Rubber stems so using the sensor caps. Do you recommend I use the repeater and how should I install it if I do? I am...

    TPMS Recommendation

Well we will see how this works. Don’t have high hopes but will try. Select TPMS then OK for 5-10 secs you get this program screen. Luckily I have a diagnostic tool to get the TPMS codes from the Ford. We’ll see…

    TPMS Recommendation

I programmed the Ford TPMS sensors into the DutchStar unit. Easy enough however the sensors did not register correctly in the Dash unit AND the Ford is no longer seeing the TPMS sensors😢 As usual I just created more work for myself to get back to zero.🤬🤬

    TPMS

I am looking at purchasing a monitoring system, but I want to know your thoughts. Do they really work? are they worth the expense? Do they really prevent damage to the rv, through the monitoring system? Thanks
