Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

I agree with Neemer and have no experience with OE TPMS but that display looks like its indicating too much braking on that axle to me.

Alert TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER STEMS MAY CAUSE VALVE STEM FAILURE!

Two things about TPMS sensors: 1. Don’t use the flo-thrus. 2. Take off the anti theft shells and the sensors will be much smaller. My Jeep has run with the sensors installed without the theft shells for 120k of towing & driving with no problem.

New to Camping, New to Forum Tire Troubles

2x on a TPMS, I've used Carlisle and Sailun S637's on 5th wheels.

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

My TPMS saga had a twist. July 7th when I parked at the Spartan repair facility, a “distracted” driver rear ended the RV at 40 mph. The team at Colton Truck and RV garage were awesome. The chassis damage was extensive. They finished the chassis repair two weeks ago. That was 1/3 the time the...

    Integrated TPMS as standard

I'm not sure who owns the TPMS whether it's Chassis or Newmar. But it is interesting to listen to what's going on with these and their problems and limits. We may be spoiled though for those of us that have TPMS like I use TST Truck. Our cars don't allow us to set these types of limits so is it...

    Error message

Did it come with a built in TPMS and maybe someone didn't disable the toad sensors?

    Time to buy tires

:-) Typo...Tires set for 110 (TPMS confirmed). And I agree, probably don't want to get near it. Like take a picture or anything.

    TPMS Recommendation

Used EZ on the past RV. This time I am going to stick with a manual gauge and chassis supplied TPMS system. My thought is to verify its operation with a manual gauge then use the chassis system if there is an anomaly. Typically I check pressure each trip before heading out. Verify with on board...

    Wireless TPMS Good or Bad

I would get the metal valve stems and continue using the TPMS.

Question Rettroband - are they worth it?

...how to do it or you can damage things pretty good. When I had rettrobands on my Ventana I carried a document that shows how to do it. They may have improved since I had the first generation. I have thought about getting them on my bus but I have to research first because of the tpms system.

Question Dark coach cab makes TPMS display dim

I don't mount my TPMS on the dash, it's low and right of the steering wheel. Initially I did and when I got the new TST color display they didn't have a good mount so I 3D printed one that velcro's to the dash near the key. Point is you don't need to be looking at your TPMS. It will alarm based...

TPMS Issues - Gen 1 -- NHTSA Recall Campaign

    That’s exactly what I did.

    TPMS

I would be shocked if any TTs or other RV priced under $400,000 come with any type of TPMS.

    Chassis comparison

FWIW (which isnt much) they have a new supplier for DEF headers. Shaw Development is apparently no longer the supplier. After 14 years of mandated crap, technology has finally caught up with the requirements so I think we’ll start seeing a lot fewer strandings due to faulty sensors.

TPMS Issues - Gen 1 -- NHTSA Recall Campaign

I would do both. Install an auxiliary TPMS for peace of mind, and file a NHTSA complaint for satisfaction. Just like the DEF debacle. I learned the system and equipped myself accordingly to keep from being stranded (never again!) and avoid a tow, but filed the complaint because the situation is...

Valve stem extender issue on Freightliner/Accuride wheels, again!

Thanks Stuart. What kind of tool? I have been thinking of developing some type of tool that could be used to attach to the TPMS cap and be able to unscrew it…

Valve stem extender issue on Freightliner/Accuride wheels, again!

Interesting… so do you have the integrated TPMS? And can you reach the inner valve?

Need a Tire inflator with a Digital Gauge

Do you like it? Do you find it corresponds somewhat closely with your TPMS?

Well folks I’ve sold my coach…

Wow. A pretty thorough list. Much better than a dealer would do. The new owner is a lucky person. Maybe adding Jacks and leveling. I don't think I saw them listed. Do you have a wifi booster installed? TV and satallite? Darrell
