Well we’re bracing for cold freezing rain in northern Th near Nashville end of the week. Be careful. I’m not sure where your headed, but we live in southern th. A few good places to stay.

Also I ve been to the cheese factory in Tillamook. Flew in at the airport and went to the air museum there at the old blimp hanger.
Here is a video of me taking off from there. Log in to Vimeo
After Kentucky we're heading to Memphis. My daughter wants to have her 13th birthday (Feb 25) there.
The air museum is awesome. They had the goose there.

I was in Tillamook one Friday night watching the Tillamook Cheesemakers and the Fighting Fishermen from Illwaco play HS football.

Actually it wasnt the Fighting Fishermen, that was our dream matchup......................

There is an RV park across from Elvis’s Mansion. We stayed there many years ago. A lot of fun.

I saw the Spruce Goose, but it was at the evergreen museum. I know they had a big plane for oversized cargo there that sat outside.

You’ll be about 2 1/2 hrs west of me from Memphis. If you like gambling, there are casinos in Tunica MS. Which is not too far.

Jimmy-rigged skirt has one tank lasting me 4 days. Pretty awesome for $100. I put the Mr Heater underneath for 15-20 before dumping the tanks. Which has only been a handful of times. We're learning to wash dishes with less water.

Thanks to WeatherBug I've decided leaving Ohio a day early will benefit our travels. So Sunday we're heading to Bowling Green, Kentucky.

I think I have my truck canopy sold to a couple in Memphis. I put an ad on Craigslist there to give it time to sell before we get down there next week.

The kid is making a list of friends she wants at her virtual birthday party in Memphis. We're going to send everyone a cake in a mug (they're cool) and a party bag so everyone can eat cake with the kiddo. She's excited. I'm hunting for a kitten for the kid. She's been begging for one for years. I tried adopting one from a cincinnati humane society but they don't agree with our lifestyle choice. Too bad.

Oh and we made plans for early June in Montana at a sapphire mine. We're going to be washing a bucket of muck and hunting sapphires. I've always wanted to do that. Sapphire is my birthstone so it's pretty cool. And in the spirit of birthdays in September I figured out what I want to do this year. Normally my birthday consists of catching crawdads in a local creek back home. Well this year I decided I wanted to catch something else. Lobster. In Maine. So we'll be in Maine in September.

Week and a half into this crazy new adventure and we're having fun. Laughing at poopcicles and getting used to RV life with less convenience. Oh and we got our solar panels. That application will wait until we're all thawed out.

WOW! good memories, before I got spoiled by the South Western sun. I still remember 10" on the cloths line in the back yard, and crunching snow under foot as we walked to school.

Moving day is here. I'm taking advantage of the break between storms. Kentucky isn't much better but it's forecasted to be about 10° warmer.

Wish me luck ?

Got here pretty easy Sunday afternoon. The roads were great except for a million potholes the size of a tire on the way down here. I stopped 3 times just to make sure the trailer tires looked solid.

They have an awesome little fishing pond here but they wouldn't let me fish. I was a little disappointed. They wouldn't let us play the giant chess board either. Apparently no one likes to have fun in the winter. Go figure.

The "snow storm" dropped about an inch of dehydrated snowballs on the ground that felt like walking on sand. Crazy weird.

Well we're supposed to be heading to a new spot Thursday but the weather looks horrible so I'm debating between staying two more nights then driving 6hrs to Memphis or just hookup for one night at our other planned destination and then heading out again.
