I'm almost perfect. Walmart I was just parked while I was shopping.

Our first homesite!

I will admit that I forgot I had to turn the propane on for the furnace and somehow didn't remember how to fill the fresh water tank. ? I'm such a newbie. I went shopping for blankets and food, now I'm trying to figure out how to lite the oven. I have my owners manual and researching. I have my new brews and cold pizza from last night to keep me entertained. The kid is loving her new room even with the truck canopy under her bed.
I got an electric blanket for the old man Walter.

The highs and lows of our first two days. We got to watch everyone look out of their rvs when a very loud siren went off. Being from nw Oregon I've only heard these sirens in movies, like Twister.

An awesome find that. My favorite cheese makers from home, they were only an hour and half drive to the cheese factory. This is the best cheese I've had at a reasonable price. The Walmart here had it in stock.

I got persistent with my new oven and made burgers. Usually I'd have onions, tomato and lettuce on it but after a long day of running up to Michigan for a couple of things I didn't have the energy to shop any more. Tomorrow I'm shopping for some veggies and an HDMI cord for the Roku.

It's 4am, day 3. Might as well walk the dog and get the day started.

Oh I discovered that with B12 my truck can get 19mpg. Towing the rig down here I evened out at 11.4 but that's flat freeway driving. Not bad though. I was hoping for 13 empty and 9 loaded.

Funny how the Bio Fuels don't seem to be as bad as a lot of people seem to think. I have run as much as B-99 in my 1996 Cummins with no issues what so ever. Bio also is a good replacement lube for fuel.

I know my truck is built for the mix. I'm pretty sure if it's not it can be slightly caustic on the wrong gaskets. But I'm still new to the subject so don't quote me on that ?

It's almost 5 day 4. I got an entire 7hrs of sleep. Yay! Yesterday was all ups. Made my first real dinner.

I posted the recipe over in the cooking section. We got TV.

And the kid helped with cleaning up after I put the dinner in.

Excuse the blur, I had to be sneaky.

I learned a couple of things too. One tank of propane heats my rig for 2 days in this frozen world. I have a on switch outside for the hot water heater. The water in the fresh tank is perfectly ice cold. And I ordered a heated hose so I can stay plugged in while I'm here. Yesterday's high was 33° so I just filled up the tank and used it.

I am going to suggest that you head south very soon since it is going to get cold up north. Not gonna to be above 5 degrees all week where we spend the summer in Minnesota!

Oh! I'm sorry I get it. All I have to do is tilt my computer
The rig is so big I have to walk a mile away or squeeze it in the shot however I can. lol It's not my fault ?
