Hi! I have an older, class C Four Winds RV that I just recently got and am living out of while dealing with a divorce. I'm stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and it's about to get very hot and my AC and fridge do not work. Windows open and a cooler with ice is holding me off for now, but that won't work for long.

Before I buy a new AC unit, what are some pitfalls to look out for before getting a new one? I'm seeing issues with thermostats amd what-not in random Google searches. I have two thermostates that are analog, from Coleman. They seem OEM.

Next issue will be the fridge. Neither the propane nor the electric options work for the Norcold model no 462. I'm assuming I'll have to replace that as well.

I can't believe how expensive these units are, especially the fridge. Any help to get something running without breaking the bank will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
