I am a new old owner and may be missing something but. I have yet to find a level enough pad for the auto level to work. Seem like there is very little usable extension of jacks. Can you adjust these down or does that cause WW3?

I'm not sure what your problem is. You do NOT have to be on a level piece of ground to use the auto levelers. If you have engaged the program and the legs don't extend very far but DO touch the ground, it could be that your coach IS already level. If the system does work, but ends the program before you feel it's level, perhaps you might want to check it with a carpenters level "on the coach floor" side to side and front to back. If it is not being leveled properly there should be instructions from the manufacturer on how to reprogram the system or you can take it back to your dealer. Further, you should be able to manually extend or retract the hydraulics from the control pad. You don't say who manufactured your auto leveler so it's hard to be more specific.

What is your leveling system? Is it electric or hydraulic. Ours is hydraulic and there is a way to recalibrate it. I do carry a small 8" level that I use to verify level. There are times where I have to do a manual level and I use the level for that as well.
