The system in the DutchStar regularly purges fluid due to various reasons. Add too much fluid, it gets purged immediately during or after first use. Outside temp changes or altitude changes sometimes causes purge.
I watch level closely. Add fluid to Cold line when necessary.

I had to add transfer fluid on occasion, one gallon over roughly 40 months. I finally decided to stick my nose into the distribution module (DM-12) and found the leak. Obviously there was no thread seal applied to the lower brass fittings during assembly. Contacted ITR who requested pics. ITR said entire unit would have to be removed in order to apply thread seal. One year later finally made it back to Nappannee to have unit pulled and thread seal applied. Was also having periodic sticking of internal valve causing heat from kitchen heat register. Pull and repair almost $2000.00. Pull and replace DM-12, $3000.00. Decided to bite the bullet and replace unit. Took unit home and now have parts.
