It always frustrated me that my 2022 Bay Star Sport did not come with adjustable arm rests on either of the two captains chairs. After a year of propping them up to a comfortable position with cardboard tubes, etc - I sought out an upgrade path.
I contacted Newmar who suggested that I contact Williamsburg Furniture, the OEM for my interior. I was pleasantly surprised with a prompt reply from them. They indicated that they didn't currently offer them, but would be willing to try a couple of sets. I worked with Kent Baker at Williamsburg, he used my Unit # to ensure a fabric match, etc.
Bottom line - I am very pleased with the form, fit, function and the quality of the work. I'd recommend them to anybody who would like this feature. They utilize a roller on the bottom of the arm for position adjustment, not the lever type that others (FlexSteel?) used.
Kent indicated that he'd be happy to work with others if there is demand. The cost was $160 per set (one chair w/standard vinyl). Cheaper than replacing the whole chair as I was contemplating. I contacted him via email: [email protected]
