I’m sure Apple will fix it. I’m not sure I’d go tossing an $800-$1,200 device in the trash unless it were an issue that persisted for many, many months past it being identified and Apple being made aware of the issue. Every piece of technology has its issues.

Mine also shows about 6.4 GB by Uninstalled apps in the last 19 days, if that’s accurate. another article here Seems to have a rational explanation about this and I’d suggest it might be worth resetting your statistics and making sure you don’t delete any apps and see what happens to this usage figure. Immediately after resetting my statistics I now show call time current period of zero minutes and lifetime of 19 days four hours. I think the article I referenced above is correct the amount of data used by uninstalled apps it’s probably for the lifetime of the phone, not during a recent billing period.

I believe you...and, the linked article...are correct. If people are constantly installing and deleting apps, I think they'll see larger numbers.

To measure the data usage an of app over a specified period. Reset your statistics. Check back in a month for example.

My "Uninstalled Apps;" is 112MB and my Netflix is 122 GB but I have an unlimited plan so it doesn't make any difference to me. I do understand if you are on a plan that has limits on the amount of data. The first month that I had an overage I went to the Verizon store and updated my plan to unlimited plan and my bill went down 8.00 per month. The only negative I have found is that from day one is limited to 680KB max hotspot speed. I also found that I can hook an adaptor to the phone lighting connection that goes from lighting connection to HDMI and watch all the videos I want on my TV without any. restrictions. I also added my IPAD to the account for 10 bucks a month and the hotspot on the IPAD is NOT restricted to the 680KB limits that the phones have.
