Easier to fill the tanks from the lav sink first, see if black fills.

that would reveal nothing other than how much time you can waste. Black and Gray tanks are opaque (thankfully). Do as @redbaron suggests and save yourself practice bleeding.
 
Wish I’d seen these posts earlier. Pulling off the panel did nothing but show me what a friggin mess Newmar leaves behind. Would a quick pass with a shop vac have killed them?
 
Production quota gets in the way. A common theme in mine. I found big pieces of what looked like fiberglass in the battery bay among other things.
